There are many ways to get involved with Sunset Coast Run; before, during, and after the event. The information in this section will help you find ways to take action and become a member of our extended family.
Volunteering at our event is a great way to get involved. There’s tons of details and logistics that go into successfully planning and executing this kind of event, so all extra hands are appreciated. Write to us with details about your time availability, and someone from our team will be in touch with you ASAP.
We require volunteers in the week leading up to the event and over the event weekend. Roles include registering athletes, aid stations, course direction marshals, medal handout, assistance with event set up and pack down as well as assisting participants with information on the day.
If you are a student looking to gain work experience we would also like to hear from you. In the months leading up to the event there are a number of key activities that are required to be fulfilled to ensure the event runs as smoothly as possible including administration, marketing, race co-ordination and operational functions.
